Huskisson Public School
An important part of the Plastic Pollution Solutions educational program is to bring awareness about the amount and types of plastic litter that can be found hiding in your school or community. After taking a small sample, we sort and count it according to the guidelines of the Australian Marine Debris Initiative database.
As we record it on the database, it becomes evident which types of litter are the biggest problem. We then workshop ways to reduce or eliminate this litter using the Four R's; REFUSE, REDUCE, RE-USE, RECYCLE.
